Chicago is packed with festivals and experiences this weekend. From celebrating independent Black artists in Bronzeville to dancing to the music Chicago gave the world, here's what's happening around the city.

Black & Bronze Fest

Aug 29 | Armstrong Park, Bronzeville

Black & Bronze Fest returns to Bronzeville with a full day celebrating Chicago's independent artists, Black-owned businesses and the neighborhood's cultural history. Expect live music, spoken word, dance, food, the Black Metropolis Market, wellness activities, family programming and opportunities to explore more of Bronzeville throughout the park.

Chicago House Music Festival & Conference

Aug 27–30 | Downtown Chicago (Various locations)

Celebrate the sound born right here in Chicago. The free four-day festival brings house music, DJs, dancing, workshops and conversations to locations throughout downtown, culminating with multiple stages of music at Millennium Park on Saturday and a closing session along the Chicago Riverwalk on Sunday.

Maconomics Wealth Summit

Aug 28–30 | Obama Presidential Center

Chicago's own Ross Mac brings financial education home with a three-day experience focused on building wealth. The weekend brings together entrepreneurs, executives, real estate professionals, athletes and other experts for conversations around money, ownership and creating generational wealth.

GoodWaves brings the music industry and live music together for a weekend of conversations, networking and performances. The conference and festival creates space for artists, creatives and music professionals to connect while highlighting emerging talent.

Panda Fest

Aug 28–30 | Butler Field

Come hungry. Panda Fest brings Asian street food, art, culture and entertainment to Chicago with more than 100 food vendors, hundreds of dishes to try, merchandise vendors and live cultural performances throughout the weekend.

Black on the Block

Aug 30 | Stadium Green at Soldier Field

Shop Black and make a day of it. Black on the Block brings its touring marketplace back to Chicago with more than 100 Black-owned brands alongside food, DJs, live performances, games, giveaways and a Kids Zone.

A free day of flow arts at Ping Tom Memorial Park with 30+ workshops, performances, vendors and activities including hoop dance, juggling, poi, yoga and acro yoga.

Greek food takes over Halsted Street alongside live music, dancing and neighborhood festivities.
