What’s the difference between the In the Loop and BLK in the City Pass membership?
The free tier (“In the Loop”) gives you access to weekly event highlights, select giveaways, and early notice on merch drops.
The BLK List gives you up to 3x entries on eligible giveaways, exclusive access to curated city guides, early access + exclusive pricing on merch, and helps sustain independent Black media in Chicago.
Can I cancel anytime?

How do giveaways work?
Giveaways are hosted through BLK Chicago and shared via email and/or our website.
Free members receive one entry on select giveaways.

Where do I submit events or media requests?
Event submissions, media inquiries, and partnership requests can be submitted through the appropriate Event Promo & Media Request form
